Distance: 150 Miles A ride that will no doubt be a headwind both ways. Starting from the shop this route heads up to Anna Maria Island, down to Lido Key, zig zags coastal neighborhoods to Siesta Key, down to Turtle Beach, some more zig zagging to Casey Key, down to the North Jetty, zig zag some bay neighborhoods to the Venice Island, over to the South Jetty, down to Caspersen Beach, up the West and down the East side of the Venetian Waterway Trail, through Shamrock Park, down the length of Manasota Key down to Stump Pass, back North on the key then through Shamrock Park to connect to the Venetian Waterway trail, take it all the way until it connects to the Legacy Trail, take the Legacy Trail all the way North until you zig zag through some more neighborhoods and you wind up on Honore heading toward Bahia Vista, where you will undoubtedly be counting how many miles are left. If that seems like a long run on sentence this ride is not for you. |

Distance: 112 Miles
A ride to Wimauma to get the best authentic tacos you've ever had and a Jarritos or maybe cerveza. Get as many as you like, just remember you have to pedal about 56 miles to get home still. |
Distance: 118 Miles
A long ride, on long roads. This route is best solo on really hot, windy days. |
Distance: 108 Miles
Not quite as long of a ride, but the long roads are still long. |
Distance: 101 Miles
The shortest route with the long roads. That extra 1 mile will feel the hardest. |
Distance: 102 Miles
Our century route. Why 102 miles? There is nothing worse than riding 100.0 miles only to load your ride to Strava and have it say 99.6 miles, and I like the route and didn't want to change it. |
Distance: 74 Miles
This route is a great candidate for the wind to switch mid ride. Plan on a headwind both ways because we never get rides that are tailwinds both ways. Stop in Amish town on the way back on Bahia Vista for some ice cream, donuts, baked goods, or a well crafted wooden chair. |
Distance: 71 Miles
Siesta Key and Myakka State Park in the same ride, how could you go wrong. It's a great ride, I don't have any snarky comments for this one. |
Distance: 69 Miles
Long version of a classic Sunday ride. You have to get the fried chicken. |
Distance: 64 Miles
Medium version of a classic Sunday ride. You have to get the corn dog. |
Distance: 58 Miles
The short version of a classic Sunday ride. You probably shouldn't actually get the food there. |
Distance: 65 Miles
A ride heading to the Northeast, pack a jacket. |
Distance: 58 Miles
Ride down South to Venice, then East. Save your legs for the climbs on this one, 3 big overpasses. |
Distance: 51 Miles
From award winning Siesta Key to the old dump on Bee Ridge extension, this ride has it all! |
Distance: 50 Miles
Ride down to Venice, do a loop around this island including the South Jetty and Caspersen Beach and stop at Croissant and Co for some authentic French baked goods. It's the only reason I even ride that far. |
Distance: 47 Miles
Ride across Mt. Ringling to get out to Longboat Key and make your way up to Anna Maria Island. There are some cool view to be had. The Sunshine Skyway bridge, the old pier, and donuts from the Donut Experiment, it's the only reason I even........catch the theme here. |
Distance: 47 Miles
The shortest route to ride through Myakka State Park without driving to start. It's a few dollars to ride through the park, it's worth it, it goes to a good cause. It is not cheap to feed all those alligators. Just kidding! Don't feed the gators! |
Distance: 44 Miles
Head North through Downtown, unfortunately there are a few miles along US41 but it isn't too busy at the right time of day, especially weekends. Once you get past 41 it is nice roads along the Manatee River, Robinson Preserve, Palma Sola Bay, Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, finishing with a brutal 5% gradient up the Ringling bridge. |
Distance: 41 Miles
You'll go down Shade, Amish town dash to Honore, to the Legacy Trail. Take the trail south to Laurel Street. *Pro Tip* When you get to Laurel push the button as if to cross Laurel, even through your going to take a right. This will stop traffic long enough for you to reach the light at 41 and Laurel, allowing you to take the lane and avoid the terrible bike lane along that stretch. Then you get to Casey Key, Siesta Key's red headed step child. |
Distance: 33 Miles
The Longboat Key classic with the addition of heading South to the end of Lido Key. |
Distance: 31 Miles
A couple loops and the horse farm, a couple loops around the golf course and head back. Ride past Celery Fields (biggest climb in Sarasota) on the way out. |
Distance: 30 Miles
Probably the single most ridden route in Sarasota. Usually a group does this ride Mon-Fri at 7am from Starbucks on 1st St. |
Distance: 24 Miles
Ride down Siesta to Turtle Beach and back. Lots of good options for coffee / food / donuts. |
